How to Play
The goal is to pocket all the balls in your assigned group and then legally sink the 8-ball before your opponent. At the beginning of a match, the balls are arranged in a traditional rack. One player takes the break. After a group is assigned, you must pocket either the solid balls numbered 1–7 or the striped balls numbered 9–15. Your opponent receives the other group.
Desktop Controls
- Move the mouse to rotate the cue and aim your shot.
- Click and drag to pull the cue backward.
- Release the mouse button to shoot.
- Pull the cue farther back to use more power.

Basic Rules
- Hit a legal ball from your group first.
- Pocketing one of your balls usually allows you to continue your turn.
- If no ball is pocketed, play passes to your opponent.
- Pocketing the cue ball is a scratch and gives your opponent ball in hand.
- After clearing your group, target the 8-ball.
- Legally pocket the 8-ball to win.
- Sinking the 8-ball too early, or scratching while attempting it, can cost you the game.
Each turn has a time limit, so aim carefully without taking too long. Use ball in hand wisely after an opponent’s foul by placing the cue ball where it creates the best possible shot.
