Word Swipe
Word Swipe Word Puzzle
Word Swipe is a Word Wipe style puzzle game that you can play online. This fast paced word puzzle game that challenges you to find words, clear letter tiles, and remove as many lines from the board as possible before time runs out. If you enjoy word search games, spelling games, vocabulary puzzles, word connect games, and classic word games like Word Wipe, Word Swipe offers an addictive combination of quick thinking and strategy.
The game begins with a large grid filled with letter tiles. Your goal is to connect neighboring letters to create valid English words of three or more letters. Letters can be connected horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, giving you plenty of possible combinations to discover. Each successful word removes its letters from the board, causing the remaining tiles to fall into the empty spaces.
But finding words is only part of the challenge. To advance, you need to strategically remove letters until you completely clear rows or columns from the board. Clear the required number of lines before the timer reaches zero to complete the level and move on to an even greater challenge.
The longer the word, the more points you can earn, so keep an eye out for opportunities to create impressive words while also thinking about which tiles will help you clear the board. A short word in the perfect location can sometimes be more valuable than a long word that leaves the board difficult to clear.
With simple controls, increasingly challenging levels, satisfying tile-clearing animations, high-score chasing, and nearly endless word possibilities, Word Swipe is easy to learn but difficult to master.

Brain Benefits of Playing Word Games
Playing word puzzle games like Word Swipe can provide an enjoyable mental workout by encouraging vocabulary recall, spelling, pattern recognition, concentration, visual scanning, and quick decision making. Searching a changing letter grid requires your brain to continually recognize possible letter combinations, retrieve words from memory, track available paths, and decide which move offers the best combination of points and strategic value. The timed gameplay can also encourage faster information processing and sustained attention, while the line-clearing mechanic adds an additional layer of planning and spatial reasoning. Regularly playing word puzzles can be a fun way to keep language and problem-solving skills active, although Word Swipe is designed for entertainment rather than as a medical or cognitive treatment.
How to Play
Playing Word Sweep is simple. Start by looking across the letter grid for words containing at least three letters.
Press or tap the first letter of a word, then drag across neighboring letters to spell the word. You can move horizontally, vertically, and diagonally, but each tile can only be used once in the same word. For example, if you see letters that can be connected to spell: C → A → T drag across those three tiles and release to submit CAT.
If the word is valid, the selected letters disappear from the board and you earn points. The remaining letters then fall downward to fill the empty spaces. Continue creating words and removing tiles as quickly as possible.
Your main objective is to completely clear horizontal rows and vertical columns. When every tile in a row or column has been removed, that line is cleared from the board and counts toward your level goal.
For example, a level may require you to clear three lines before time runs out. Once you have cleared all three, you complete the level and advance. Later levels require more lines and give you less time, so you'll need to find words faster while making increasingly strategic decisions.
